Another year and another exhilarating Highdown Hike race, a testimony to the spirit of running and friendship that binds us at Worthing Striders. A massive congratulations to every participant who ran and conquered the Highdown Hike 2023. You didn’t just complete it – you absolutely smashed it!
Nature seemed to be on our side, with a timely appearance of the rainbow 🌈 just as the race commenced, followed by a delightful touch of sunshine! 🌄💁♂️ It’s these moments that make such events even more memorable.
A hearty thank you to our steadfast team: the Marshals who ensured safety at every twist and turn; the diligent course setup crew who made sure the path was clear and challenging; the talented cake makers who gave us delicious bites of joy; the enthusiastic cake sellers who served with a smile, and of course, the dedicated helpers who pitched in during the pack-up. Your collective efforts made this event seamless and a joy for everyone.
