Running sessions for all abilities

We regularly run group training sessions on Tuesday and Thursday evenings. The exact locations and nature of sessions vary and there is an emphasis on social running. Frequently used locations are shown below, but members receive communications confirming details regularly, via Email and Facebook.

Group Runs

Thursday Evenings (Year Round)

Meet at the West Worthing Tennis Club at 6.30pm. Runners are divided into ability, speed and distance groups to suit all needs and training requirements. A member of the committee will always run with any new members to ensure nobody is left behind.


Sunday Mornings (Year Round)

On Sunday mornings group often arrange small group runs. Throughout the year, club organised Sunday runs are arranged, often running from the Bluebird cafe, Ferring.



Tuesday Evenings (April to Mid September)

During the Spring/Summer our structured training sessions are held in one convenient location:

Highdown field (nr Highdown Gardens). Most runners meet at the club at 6.30pm to run over together to the training location.

Tuesday Evenings (Mid September to March)

During the Autumn/winter Tuesday night training will rotate around 3 venues: Fernhurst Drive, Adur Avenue and Worthing Prom beside the Canada War Memorial. The venue will be published by email and will be on the club notice board but may be subject to change due to weather conditions.

​Meet at the club at 6.30pm to run the short distance to the training location except for the Worthing Prom when most people will meet there.
