Striders Go the Distance

Once again, Striders have had a packed weekend of running. Many members took part in their usual local park runs, keeping up the consistency and community spirit that define our weekends.

A few members headed to Eastbourne for the Beachy Head Marathon well known for its challenging hills and stunning coastal views. A great effort from everyone who took that on!

On Sunday, we also had a fantastic turnout for the West Sussex Fun Run League event in Lancing, with over 20 Striders taking part. The course was a tough, hilly one, but that didn’t stop anyone from giving it their all and representing the club brilliantly.
To top it off, a few of our runners went international, completing the Venice Marathon, an unforgettable race through one of the world’s most scenic cities.

It’s been another impressive week showing just how varied and active our running community is. From local runs to international races. Well done to everyone who got out there!
