This weekend saw Striders taking part in a range of events, from local parkruns to longer road and trail runs.
On Saturday, Striders were spread across several Parkruns, including Banstead Wood, Littlehampton and Worthing. It was another strong turnout, showing how active the club continues to be each week.
At Worthing, there were two standout milestones: Lesley completed her 350th parkrun, marking a long-term commitment to Saturday mornings, and Fran achieved a new PB, reflecting great progress.
On Sunday, the activity continued with members heading to different events. Manny travelled to Brighton to run the Brighton 10K, joined by Sally and Alex O, who both delivered excellent performances and came away with personal bests. Conditions on the seafront were favourable, helping to produce some strong times.
Meanwhile, Michelle took on a more demanding route at Rolys Run, completing 15.5 miles of trail. The course included varied terrain and elevation, making it a tough but rewarding effort.
Overall, it was another productive week for the club, with Striders taking on different challenges, distances, and terrains, and continuing to show consistency and commitment across all levels.
