This Easter Monday, Lewes Athletic Club’s annual Easter Fun Runs lit up the Wave Leisure Centre, Mountfield Road. The event, a staple of the West Sussex Fun Run League, embraced runners of all ages across three races.
The festivities began with the toddlers’ trot—a 400-metre dash where our youngest participants, cheered on by parents and carers, eagerly raced around the track. This was followed by the 1-mile junior race, showcasing the incredible talent and determination of our younger athletes.
The highlight was the 10km race for those aged 15 and over, which challenged runners with its diverse terrain around Lewes. The community support was phenomenal, creating a vibrant atmosphere that spurred every runner to the finish line.
