Burgess Hill Runners Downland Dash WSFRL

Worthing Striders members enthusiastically participated in the Downland Dash, hosted by Burgess Hill Runners. This race, known for its picturesque 5-mile multi-terrain course, winds through fields, footpaths, and woods, offering runners a delightful challenge.

The Downland Dash is a fantastic opportunity for runners of all abilities to enjoy the natural beauty of the Sussex countryside. From flat fields under wide skies to winding woodland paths, the course provided a perfect mix of scenery and terrain to test everyone’s skills.

Our Striders shone brightly, demonstrating incredible team spirit and camaraderie. Seasoned runners aimed for personal bests, while beginners experienced their first multi-terrain race, all supported by the unwavering encouragement of fellow Striders.

A special shoutout goes to our volunteer coaches and pacers who participated, cheered, and guided everyone along the way. Their dedication is a true reflection of the community spirit we cherish at Worthing Striders.

We are immensely proud of everyone who took part and grateful to Burgess Hill Runners for hosting such a wonderful event. For those inspired by this race and interested in joining our vibrant community, we welcome you to our training nights. Let’s continue to embrace the joy of running together!
