Worthing Striders joined other local running clubs in the Steepdown Challenge, a race organised by the Lancing Eagles as part of the West Sussex Fun Run League (WSFRL). The weather was wet, turning the ground into a muddy and demanding terrain for all participants.
Runners faced a 5-mile course through the slippery trails of Lancing Ring. The conditions made the competition challenging, yet the spirits among the Striders remained high throughout the event. With a focus on promoting community and friendly competition, the Steepdown Challenge brought together runners from various local clubs, providing an opportunity for participants to interact and share their love for running, despite the challenging weather conditions.
