The Worthing Striders have yet again proven their mettle at the esteemed Riga Marathon and Half Marathon, held this past weekend. Our tenacious team took to the streets of the charming Latvian capital with a stride that was nothing short of inspirational.
Battling the cobblestones and the competition with equal vigour, our Striders embraced the challenge of the full marathon and the half marathon with steadfast determination. The Riga racecourse, famous for its architectural grandeur and historic landmarks, was conquered with admirable strength and perseverance by our runners.
Our full marathon runners wove through the cityscape, their pace steady and their spirits high, completing the race with commendable times. The half marathon team was equally impressive, displaying relentless resolve and camaraderie throughout the route.
We’re immensely proud of every Strider who participated, embodying the spirit of our club and the passion for running that we all share.
