On a brisk April morning, members of the Worthing Striders lined up at the start of the iconic London Marathon 2024, each filled with determination and the support of the entire club behind them. Our runners, ranging from seasoned marathoners to first-time participants, displayed incredible endurance and spirit as they navigated the 26.2-mile course through the historic streets of London.
Fellow Striders and supporters lined the route, providing cheers and motivation, which proved invaluable. Each Strider crossed the finish line with a sense of accomplishment, their faces beaming with pride.
We are incredibly proud of each runner who took part in this prestigious event. Their hard work and training paid off, and their achievements highlight the essence of what it means to be a part of Worthing Striders—a club that supports and celebrates every runner’s journey, no matter the distance.
